Welcome to Black Key Travels (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the travel planning, itinerary curation, and booking services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Our Services
Black Key Travels provides high-end travel consultancy services, including but not limited to:

• Customised travel itineraries

• Visa assistance and processing

• Flight and accommodation bookings

• Transfers and chauffeur services

• On-demand BKT agents during your trip

• Restaurant and experience reservations

• Concierge-level support throughout your journey

We also offer itinerary-only services for clients who prefer to book travel independently, and booking-only services for clients who already have planned itineraries.

2. Booking Process
Our booking process typically includes:

• Destination and trip-type selection

• Budget consultation and custom planning

• Confirmation of services to be handled by Black Key Travels

• Collection of necessary client information (e.g. passport, visa documents)

• Deposit payment and full balance prior to trip commencement

Please note that some bookings require full upfront payment depending on third-party supplier policies (e.g. hotels, airlines, visa authorities).

3. Payments
All payments must be made in the agreed currency and by the deadline outlined in your invoice or service agreement. We accept bank transfers and other approved payment methods.
Failure to complete payment on time may result in service delays, booking cancellations, or the forfeit of your reservation.

4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds are not guaranteed and depend on the policies of third-party suppliers (e.g. airlines, hotels, local partners).
Black Key Travels may charge a cancellation fee for any work already undertaken, including itinerary development, consultation, or visa support.
We recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical emergencies, and unforeseen disruptions.

5. Travel Documents & Responsibilities
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and any required entry documentation.
Black Key Travels can assist with visa processing but does not guarantee visa approval, as this is at the sole discretion of the relevant embassy or consulate.
We are not liable for missed flights, denied entries, or trip disruptions caused by incomplete documentation or personal negligence.

6. Changes & Modifications
Requests to modify your travel plans must be submitted in writing. We will do our best to accommodate your changes, but fees may apply depending on the timing and flexibility of third-party providers.
If changes are necessary due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather disruptions, civil unrest), we will offer suitable alternatives wherever possible.

7. Liability & Disclaimer
Black Key Travels acts as an agent between clients and third-party travel suppliers. While we only work with trusted and vetted partners, we are not liable for actions, negligence, or changes made by these suppliers.
We do not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, illness, injury, or delays incurred during your trip.
Your use of our website and services is at your own risk. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our information, but we do not guarantee that the site is error-free or uninterrupted.

8. On-Demand BKT Agent
Our on-demand travel support provides you with a dedicated BKT agent during your trip for assistance with bookings, recommendations, and resolving travel hiccups. This service must be booked in advance and may be subject to availability and time zone limitations.

9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including logos, designs, text, and imagery, is the intellectual property of Black Key Travels and may not be copied, reused, or reproduced without express written permission.

10. Privacy Policy
Your data is handled with utmost confidentiality. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.

12. Amendments
Black Key Travels reserves the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
